Knowledge & Accuracy for the Guitarist
THE EXERCISE ARCHIVE 2010AD
The recital repertoire is wonderful for demonstrating one's technique. However, finding precisely what piece and which measures are required to master or reinforce a particular technical ability, well, that can be a hit or miss proposition. The exercises on this page will pinpoint specific areas where all guitarists find difficulty at one time or another. Of course, some players may have less problems in certain areas than others, but there is something here for every player at any level of proficiency.
Left hand exercises are useful for any player performing in any genre. Right hand exercises will be targeted towards the classical player. There are pages for the Rock and Blues guitarist and all those who play the electric guitar.
Each week a new exercise or technique building session will be added to this page. Please click the link for the most current date for the latest session. Please check back every Thursday, that's when the new pages are added!

Hear selections from my new album, Reflecting Pools. A departure for me, it is a keyboard album. The music is a series of tone poems written for relaxation and meditation. Reflecting pools is the perfect companion for a rainy afternoon or a winter evening. Actually, it is a great stress-reliever at work!
